“I must share my experience with my real estate agent when selling my condo in Toronto. His name is Dave Friestadt and he provided me with service above and beyond my expectations.

I was moving to Alberta from Toronto and had to sell my condo relatively quickly. However, I wanted to get a certain price. I called on Dave to represent me and advised Dave that I would like to sell my condo at that price. After doing some market research Dave advised my price might be high given the current market trends. He advised me on what he thought I should sell for, but I was stubborn and did not want to budge. The house went on the market at the price I wanted. Not surprisingly, we did not get much interest. After 2 weeks the pressure to sell was getting more intense and we re-listed the place at the price Dave had originally quoted. I had a conditional offer in 3 days and a firm sale 8 days after re-listing.

Now comes the part where Dave went way over and above. Dave wanted to stage my place somewhat. I had most of my furniture removed and he was left with the balance to work with (and, believe me, it is not the greatest furniture to work with). Dave provided bedding, lamps, bedroom accents, pictures, patio carpet, patio tables, flowers and plants and various other items to turn my place into a palace. As if that was not enough, Dave painted one wall in the bedroom and arranged repairs for a severely damaged wall in my washroom.

Once the repairs and staging were complete he photographed and listed the condo. Within hours of the listing, I had calls from friends in disbelief that the condo that they saw featured was really mine.

Aside from the miracle work Dave performed, he also alleviated a lot of the stress I was under (selling the condo, leaving the province, starting a new job with a new company). He had a way about him that honestly was able to calm my nerves. Oh, did I mention that I had already left Toronto when the last of my furniture had to be moved. Can you guess who packed up the remainder of my condo? Yes, it was Dave!

If ever I have the chance to work with Dave again, I will not hesitate. He went above and beyond to deliver an overall very satisfying experience”.
